I'm Dr. Ross Allen. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I'd like to tell you a little about myself and our staff. I grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in chemical engineering before dental school. I attended the University of Oklahoma for dental school, as well.
In our practice, we focus on providing quality dental care for the entire family. I believe in providing different treatment options based on patients' needs and desires. I am a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and American Dental Association. I also volunteer for D-Dent, providing free dental work to the disabled and elderly.
I bought this practice in 2011, and I have loved working with our community. My favorite part about being a dentist is getting to know patients and providing long term oral care. As a dentist, I enjoy the different challenges associated with different procedures and staying up-to-date on new techniques.
When I'm not learning about new treatment options for restoring and preventing worn teeth, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also spend my spare time watching movies, running, or exercising.
I'm currently training for a couple of long-distance runs (half marathons). I also enjoy cooking BBQ on my recently purchased smoker. I keep up with the OU Sooners football team and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team.
Valerie Myers
Hygienist
Valerie received her training from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and has been with us since January of 2020. She loves our welcoming office atmosphere and getting to know our patients every day.
When not at work, Valerie spends time with her family.
Soniya Haught
Front Office Coordinator
Born in New Delhi, India. Soniya was raised mostly in Dallas, TX.
Soniya pursued her Certificate in Dental Assistant through Penn Foster College and obtained a microbiology degree at Oklahoma City Community College.
She has been with us since June 2016. Before working at Ross Allen, DDS, she has been in the dental field since February of 2010.
During her spare time, she manages a small business in permanent makeup and enjoys seeing clients and keeping herself busy. Soniya really enjoys spending time with her family. Time with them is rare because her daughter, Talia, is in gymnastics at Victory Gymnastics and her husband, Derrick, is with the Army National Guard and an Oklahoma State Trooper.
Kristin To
Dental Assistant
Kristin received her training from Smile Solutions and has been with us since August 2015.
The most fulfilling part of her job is comforting patients and making sure they feel at ease at our office because she knows how stressful it can be.
Kristin enjoys taking the time to interact with our patients, educating them on proper dental care, and helping them form good habits to improve their overall oral health. Also, developing a good rapport with them so when they come back, they feel like family.
In her spare time, if she's not spending time with her family, you will find her painting or drawing.
Christie
Dental Assistant and Front Office
Originally from Del City, Christie graduated from Del City High School in 1998 and Oklahoma Health Academy in 2003. She even got the highest GPA in class at Oklahoma Health Academy.
Christie has been with us since 2020, but she has 17 years of experience as a dental assistant. The best part of her job is the excitement of helping to improve people's oral health. She loves the awe of watching a smile transformed in front of her eyes and the joy it brings to people.
When not in the office, she spends a lot of time watching her son play soccer. She loves getting lost in her Kindle, especially at the lake. She also loves arts and crafts.
